Sleep deprived eyes and a groggy mind look for that everyday fix for that early morning boost – caffeine loaded wonder drug called coffee. Although the senses demand an exotic concoction that takes you on a world tour while seated at you kitchen table, all you can grab is tasteless instant coffee powder mixed sleepily in a cup of boiled water! Ah… so much for waking up to smell the coffee…
Coffee the word evokes images of a luxurious afternoon spent under the dappled sunlight of a garden cafe reading a book and not the sad drone of the office coffee machine with dripping stale water. Unfortunately, that is what we have to settle for everyday – sugary sweet watery mess.
Oh how I crave for the intoxicating smell of freshly ground beans… That’s why the first place I want to go to today after work is a nice cafe where I can sit peacefully, smelling fresh coffee pouring over an interesting book… Ah! My bliss…
